Keeping the heat up.
Heating today’s homes and businesses, like air conditioning, is a matter of efficiency. Standard ratings for furnaces are called Annual Fuel Utilization Efficiency (AFUE). The AFUE for a given unit is noted by a percentage of fuel that is converted into energy, currently ranging from 80 to 96.6 percent. The higher the percentage, the greater amount of fuel is turned into heat.
That efficiency translates into savings for you. For every $100 you spend on heating your home or business with an 80-percent AFUE unit, you can save some 23 percent by moving up to 96.6-percent AFUE. Over time, the more efficient unit will pay for itself.
RonAir Air Conditioning and Heating will work with you to determine your needs so you can be keeping the heat up while keeping the costs down.
